Why would I pay you to organize for me?

September 14, 2017

Let's answer the question you are all thinking, "Why would I pay someone to organize for me?". Well, let me tell you.

If something doesn't come naturally to you, it is OK to invest your money into someone or something to do the work for you. For example, we all COULD cut and blow out our own hair. But... we pay someone else to do it... why? because they do it better... because they are a professional. Now another example, I COULD mow my own lawn, but I don't want to, and I wouldn't be very good at it... so therefore, I pay a professional to do it for me. You see where I'm going with this?

On the other hand, there are things I can't justify paying for because it is something I am capable of doing and have no problem doing on my own. Example: I hate paying to get my nails done, because I own 100 nail polish bottles and the capability to do so and I enjoy it.

For most, organizing is not something that they enjoy to do and some people mentally and physically can't handle it. Theoretically, you could organize anything you want. Do you have a room or space that's cluttered? Have you thought about conquering it yourself? I'm sure you have, but sometimes you realize that that's not something you want to spend your time doing. I have actually had a few clients say to me "I'm paying you to do this even though my husband insists I can do it on my own". Big BRAVO to those who have taken this step, because they are in tune with themselves and realize it's not going to do it on it's own and they aren't afraid to ask for help. Sometimes you just need a push! I have had a handful of clients who have me do their biggest project with them and then they are motivated to tackle the smaller projects.

Now, why organize? And why not just keep the clutter? Because:

1) Having a de-cluttered home leads to your brain feeling less cluttered.

2) It is a great feeling to know where everything is.

3) You will literally $ave money because you don't end up re-purchasing items you already have due to not being able to find them

4) Your day should not be filled digging through piles to get to the shirt you want, or to knock over everything in a cabinet just to get to one container or one pan.

5) Your day is probably stressful enough you don't need the added stress of clutter at home.
